8 October 2018 - Tender Released

The tender has been released to construct the new visitor and events centre at the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens. Full details are available to download online via Tenders Online

5 September 2018 - Information sessions

An information session is being held for the public to view the architectural concepts that have been created from consultation with George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens’ stakeholders. If you would like to talk to the architect and find out about the concepts, this is a great event to see what’s being proposed and to view the plans for the centre, and the interpretation display.

If you can’t make it to the information session, there will also be displays located at the Gardens and in the City.

17 August 2018 – Development Consent Authority submission

The plans are currently at a 95% completion phase and have been submitted to the Development Consent Authority for approval.
